Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques for securing/fixing implantable medical devices in a recipient using soft tissue. As described further below, implantable medical devices in accordance with certain embodiments presented herein include one or more suture zones that enable a surgeon to suture the implantable medical device to soft tissue of the recipient and, accordingly, at least temporarily secure the implantable medical devices at a selected location in the recipient. After the implantable medical device is sutured to the tissue, soft tissue growth can further secure or stabilize the implantable medical device in the recipient.[French]
