Abstract[English]
A cheek pad (100) for mounting inside a helmet (902) is described herein. The cheek pad can include an exterior facing (201) an interior facing side (101) that makes contact with a wearer's cheek when the helmet is worn. The cheek pad also includes an acoustic chamber (102) formed as an opening in the cheek pad for placement against the side of a wearer's head. The acoustic chamber has a first acoustic chamber rim (104) on the interior facing side of the cheek pad, a second acoustic chamber rim (108) on the exterior facing side, an acoustic chamber wall extending between the first acoustic chamber rim and the second acoustic chamber rim. A helmet may also be provided including one or two cheek pads as described above.[French]
La présente invention concerne un coussinet de joue (100) destiné à être monté à l'intérieur d'un casque (902). Le coussinet de joue peut comprendre un côté faisant face à l'extérieur (201), un côté faisant face à l'intérieur (101) entrant en contact avec la joue d'un utilisateur lorsque le casque est porté.
