Abstract[English]
A position, navigation, and timing (PNT) system, a satellite terminal and methods for using the same are disclosed. In some embodiments, a satellite terminal includes an antenna aperture and a computing device. The computing device is operable to execute an inversion algorithm to derive a location of the satellite terminal. This can be used when an external reference to its location is not available. The satellite terminal also includes a transcoder to create a transcoded signal using the location and a modem communicably coupled to the transcoder and the antenna aperture to receive the transcoded signal.[French]
L'invention concerne un système de positionnement, navigation et synchronisation (PNT), un terminal satellitaire et des procédés d'utilisation de ceux-ci. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un terminal satellitaire comprend une ouverture d'antenne et un dispositif informatique. Le dispositif informatique peut fonctionner pour exécuter un algorithme d'inversion pour obtenir un emplacement du terminal satellitaire. Ceci peut être utilisé lorsqu'une référence externe à son emplacement n'est pas disponible.
