Abstract[English]
A comminution apparatus can include a discharge grate that is configured to have openings sized to permit comminuted material of a pre-selected size range to pass through openings of the grate. The grate can be structured to permit movement of the grate so that the size of the openings of the grate may vary during operations so that comminution media utilized in a comminution chamber that may become lodges in the openings can be dislodged for passing through the opening or being directed back into the chamber to avoid blockages of the openings. Some embodiments can utilize openings that are also tapered such that the discharge sides of the openings are wider than the comminution chamber side of the openings.[French]
