Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a dry gas seal system for rotating equipment operating on a process fluid, said seal system comprising an axial end face separation seal and an oleophobic coating disposed at least partially over surfaces of the separation seal as defined herein. The present invention also relates to the coated axial end face separation seal of use in the system, as well as methods of operating the system and providing the coated axial end face separation seal as defined herein.[French]
La présente invention concerne un système d'étanchéité à gaz sec pour un équipement rotatif fonctionnant sur un fluide de traitement, ledit système d'étanchéité comprenant un joint d'étanchéité de séparation de face d'extrémité axiale et un revêtement oléophobe disposé au moins partiellement sur des surfaces du joint d'étanchéité de séparation tel que présentement défini. La présente invention concerne également le joint d'étanchéité de séparation de face d'extrémité axiale revêtu destiné à être utilisé dans le système, ainsi que des procédés de fonctionnement du système et de fourniture du joint d'étanchéité de séparation de face d'extrémité axiale revêtu tel que présentement défini.
