Abstract[English]
Presented herein are techniques for differentially attenuating sound components in different frequency bands. One or more sounds are received at a hearing device associated with a recipient. The one or more sounds are filtered to form a plurality of sound components each associated with a corresponding one of a plurality of frequency bands. One or more of the sound components are attenuated, wherein an amount of attenuation applied to each of the one or more sound components is correlated with an output noise floor in an associated one of the plurality of frequency bands.[French]
L'invention concerne des techniques d'atténuation différentielle de composantes sonores dans différentes bandes de fréquences. Un ou plusieurs sons sont reçus au niveau d'un dispositif auditif associé à un destinataire. Lesdits un ou plusieurs sons sont filtrés pour former une pluralité de composantes sonores associées chacune à une bande correspondante d'une pluralité de bandes de fréquences. Une ou plusieurs des composantes sonores sont atténuées, une ampleur d'atténuation appliquée à chacune desdites une ou plusieurs composantes sonores étant corrélée à un plancher de bruit de sortie dans une bande associée de la pluralité de bandes de fréquences.
