Abstract[English]
A system and method for encrypting and decrypting data files using a software application that securely manages encryption keys, permissions, and access control. The method comprises logging in using user credentials, creating transmitting and receiving user profiles, and generating a unique encryption key associated with each profile and hardware device. Data files are encrypted block-by-block, where a block is sized in bits according to the data files' data structure, using this key, and may include metadata such as user identity, permissions, and audit trails in an encrypted file header. Decryption occurs directly in memory to allow real- time playback or viewing without writing decrypted data to a storage medium, unless permitted.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de chiffrement et de déchiffrement de fichiers de données à l'aide d'une application logicielle qui gère de manière sécurisée des clés de chiffrement, des autorisations et une commande d'accès. Le procédé comprend la journalisation à l'aide de justificatifs d'identité d'utilisateur, la création de profils d'utilisateur de transmission et de réception, et la génération d'une clé de chiffrement unique associée à chaque profil et dispositif matériel.
