Abstract[English]
A method performed by an apparatus of a communication network is provided. The method includes sending, towards ambient Internet of Things (IoT) devices, a service request for a service. The method includes receiving, from at least some of the ambient IoT devices, respective messages related to the service. The respective messages are received in accordance with value(s) for parameter(s) that quantifies a size of an interval within which a back-off time for retransmission of a message is to be determined. An analysis of the respective messages is performed for conformance of the ambient IoT devices to a timeout period associated with messages from the ambient IoT devices. A determination is made whether to increase or decrease the size of the interval based on the analysis; and based on the determination, an indication to increase or decrease the value(s) for the parameter(s) is sent towards the ambient IoT devices.[French]
L'invention propose un procédé réalisé par un appareil dans un réseau de communication. Le procédé consiste à envoyer, vers des dispositifs de l'Internet des Objets (IdO) ambiants, une demande de service pour un service. Le procédé consiste à recevoir, en provenance d'au moins certains des dispositifs IdO ambiants, des messages respectifs associés au service. Les messages respectifs sont reçus conformément à une ou plusieurs valeurs pour un ou plusieurs paramètres qui quantifient une taille d'un intervalle dans lequel un temps de réduction de puissance pour la retransmission d'un message doit être déterminé. Une analyse des messages respectifs est effectuée pour la conformité des dispositifs IdO ambiants à une période de temporisation associée à des messages provenant des dispositifs IdO ambiants. Il est déterminé s'il faut augmenter ou diminuer la taille de l'intervalle sur la base de l'analyse; et sur la base de la détermination, une indication pour augmenter ou diminuer la ou les valeurs pour le ou les paramètres est envoyée vers les dispositifs IdO ambiants.
