Abstract[English]
The invention provides oral cyclodextrin inclusion complex formulations in which inclusion complexes of camphene from the camphene CD inclusion complex; borneol from the borneol CD inclusion complex; geraniol from the geraniol CD inclusion complex; and, anethole from the anethole CD inclusion complex are provided together with an enzyme having a cyclodextrin-degrading activity capable of digesting cyclodextrins, so that upon delivery of the formulation to a target tissue the CD-degrading enzyme is activated and releases the camphene from the camphene CD inclusion complex; borneol from the borneol CD inclusion complex; geraniol from the geraniol CD inclusion complex; and, anethole from the anethole CD inclusion complex from the cyclodextrins. These cyclodextrin inclusion complex formulations may be used for lowering cholesterol, triglycerides and/or LDL levels.[French]
L'invention concerne des formulations orales de complexes d'inclusion de cyclodextrine dans lesquelles des complexes d'inclusion de camphène provenant du complexe d'inclusion CD de camphène; de bornéol provenant du complexe d'inclusion CD de bornéol ; de géraniol provenant du complexe d'inclusion CD de géraniol ; et, d'anéthole provenant du complexe d'inclusion CD d'anéthole sont pourvus conjointement d'une enzyme ayant une activité de dégradation de cyclodextrine capable de digérer les cyclodextrines, de telle sorte que, lors de l'administration de la formulation à un tissu cible, l'enzyme de dégradation de CD est activée et libère le camphène du complexe d'inclusion CD de camphène ; le bornéol du complexe d'inclusion CD de bornéol ; le géraniol du complexe d'inclusion CD de géraniol ; et, l'anéthole du complexe d'inclusion CD de d'anéthole à partir des cyclodextrines.
