Abstract[English] A gas extraction valve is provided for separating an intermittent gas from an unwanted liquid. The gas extraction valve includes a valve float, with a vase-like shape and corresponding valve seats composed of two precision wide seals at the top and bottom shaped to fit the valve float. In operation, the valve float transitions rapidly between a lower seal and an upper seal of the valve seat, such that a gas may traverse through the valve when the valve float hovers between the upper seal and the lower seal. If the pressure of the gas under the valve relative to the pressure above the valve is reduced the vase float eventually drops and closes the lower wide seal thus acting as a one-way valve. If the flowing gas is followed by a high-pressure liquid the float valve lifts due to its buoyancy and prevents passage of the liquid.[French] Est divulguée une soupape d'extraction de gaz destinée à séparer un gaz intermittent d'un liquide indésirable. La soupape d'extraction de gaz comprend un flotteur de soupape, ayant une forme de type vase, et des sièges de soupape correspondants composés de deux joints larges de précision au niveau de la forme supérieure et inférieure pour s'adapter au flotteur de soupape.
