Abstract[English] A liner segment (18, 28, 38) for a rotary mineral ore grinding mill (1) is disclosed. The mill has a generally horizontal mill axis, and an interior having a generally cylindrical liner (6) with frusto-conical ends (8). The liner segment (18) is one of a plurality of substantially identical segments making up the liner frusto-conical ends. Each of the segments includes a part of a first collar (12) which protrudes inwardly into the interior and has a vane (21). A second collar (212) may be present and, if so, has a vane (221). An ejector rib (25) extends inwardly from the first collar (12) into the interior. A liner and a method of operating a mill are also disclosed.[French] L'invention concerne un segment de chemise (18, 28, 38) pour un broyeur rotatif de minerai minéral (1).
