Abstract[English] Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a virtual machine migration method, and a device, a computer program product and a storage medium. For a target virtual machine that uses a hardware GPU to perform rendering acceleration, after receiving a live migration trigger instruction, a source host may, in addition to starting the execution of a conventional live migration process, further control the target virtual machine to stop sending instructions to a virtual GPU in use, wait for the completion of the execution of each rendering instruction that is being executed, and then start to migrate, to a destination host, device state data corresponding to the virtual GPU as well as rendering data and state data that are generated by a hardware rendering process corresponding to the virtual GPU, so as to support, in the destination host, state restoration of the virtual GPU and the hardware rendering process that are involved in the target virtual machine.
