Various embodiments provide methods, apparatuses, and computer program products. An example apparatus includes: at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to perform: determining a quality metrics per video sequence and/or picture; and signaling the quality metrics as an absolute or relative gains for post-processing filters or post-processing filter groups, relative to the cropped decoded picture or relate to an input of a current post-processing filter of a post-processing filter group.[French]
Divers modes de réalisation concernent des procédés, des appareils, et des produits-programmes informatiques. Un appareil donné à titre d'exemple comprend : au moins un processeur ; et au moins une mémoire stockant des instructions qui, lorsqu'elles sont exécutées par ledit au moins un processeur, amènent l'appareil au moins à : déterminer une mesure de qualité par séquence vidéo et/ou par image ; et signaler les mesures de qualité en tant que gains absolus ou relatifs pour des filtres de post-traitement ou des groupes de filtres de post-traitement, se rapportant à l'image décodée rognée ou à une entrée d'un filtre de post-traitement actuel d'un groupe de filtres de post-traitement.
