Abstract[English]
A service lift assembly for use in a vehicle service location having a pit with a pit opening in a service floor and a pit floor below the service floor. The lift assembly includes a vertically movable lift platform operatively connected to a lift mechanism, such as a scissor assembly, mounted to the pit floor. The lift mechanism is configured to raise the lift platform to at least three positions: a retracted position below the service floor, a coplanar position aligned with the service floor to enclose the pit opening, and an elevated position above the service floor to lift a vehicle. The platform may also be positioned at an intermediate height within the pit to serve as an adjustable standing surface for a technician.[French]
L'invention concerne un ensemble de levage de service destiné à être utilisé dans un emplacement de service de véhicule ayant une fosse avec une ouverture de fosse dans un plancher de service et un plancher de fosse au-dessous du plancher de service. L'ensemble de levage comprend une plateforme de levage mobile verticalement reliée fonctionnellement à un mécanisme de levage, tel qu'un ensemble ciseaux, monté sur le plancher de fosse. Le mécanisme de levage est configuré pour élever la plateforme de levage vers au moins trois positions : une position rétractée au-dessous du plancher de service, une position coplanaire alignée avec le plancher de service pour enfermer l'ouverture de fosse, et une position élevée au-dessus du plancher de service pour soulever un véhicule.
