Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a data storage method, a data reading method, a device, a system, a storage medium and a program product. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, introducing a second buffer pool between a first buffer pool and a persistent storage medium of a storage node allows more data objects to be located in the buffer pools, fully exerting the read-write performance advantages that the buffer pools bring to a cloud storage system. Further, by means of compressing data and then storing same in the second buffer pool, more data can be stored with limited second buffer pool resources, thereby further improving the hit rate when searching for data in the buffer pools, further exerting the effect of the buffer pools, improving the performance of the cloud storage system, and reducing storage cost.[French]
