There is provided a user equipment comprising means for: determining a size of one or more parameters associated with an authentication procedure; deriving the one or more parameters based on the determined size of the one or more parameters; and sending, to the access and mobility management function, an authentication message comprising a first output parameter, wherein the first output parameter is one of the derived one or more parameters.[French]
