Abstract[English]
A solution phase polymerization process comprises feeding two single site polymerization catalysts, a bridged phosphinimine catalyst and an unbridged phosphinimine catalyst, to a polymerization reactor along with ethylene and optionally one or more than one alpha-olefin to make a polyethylene composition comprising a first polyethylene component and a second polyethylene component. The first and second polyethylene components are produced by the bridged phosphinimine catalyst and the unbridged phosphinimine catalyst respectively and depending on the polymerization conditions may have divergent molecular weights and short chain branching contents (where short chain branching occurs if one or more than one alpha-olefin is fed to the reactor along with ethylene).[French]
Un procédé de polymérisation en phase solution consiste à introduire deux catalyseurs de polymérisation à site unique, un catalyseur de phosphinimine ponté et un catalyseur de phosphinimine non ponté, dans un réacteur de polymérisation conjointement avec de l'éthylène et éventuellement une ou plusieurs alpha-oléfines pour fabriquer une composition de polyéthylène comprenant un premier composant de polyéthylène et un second composant de polyéthylène. Les premier et second composants de polyéthylène sont produits par le catalyseur de phosphinimine ponté et le catalyseur de phosphinimine non ponté respectivement et en fonction des conditions de polymérisation peuvent avoir des poids moléculaires divergents et des contenus de ramification de chaîne courte (une ramification de chaîne courte se produisant si une ou plusieurs alpha-oléfines sont introduites dans le réacteur conjointement avec de l'éthylène).
