Abstract[English]
A process for the preparation of osmium sponge comprising the steps of: (1) providing osmeth, an aqueous solution of ethanol and an aqueous solution of hydrazine- hydrate, (2) preparing a mixture of the osmeth and the aqueous solution of ethanol, both provided in step (1), (3) adding the aqueous solution of hydrazine-hydrate provided in step (1) to the mixture prepared in step (2), so forming an aqueous slurry of black-colored solid particles comprising osmium, (4) separating the black-colored solid particles comprising osmium from the aqueous phase of the aqueous slurry formed in step (3), (5) washing the black-colored solid particles comprising osmium separated in step (4) with water or preferably with an aqueous solution of ammonium chloride, (6) drying the washed black-colored solid particles comprising osmium obtained in step (5), and (7) heat treating the dry black-colored solid particles comprising osmium obtained in step (6) in a reducing and hydrogen containing atmosphere, so yielding osmium sponge.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'éponge d'osmium comprenant les étapes consistant à : (1) fournir de l'osmeth, une solution aqueuse d'éthanol et une solution aqueuse d'hydrazine hydratée, (2) préparer un mélange de l'osmeth et de la solution aqueuse d'éthanol, tous deux fournis à l'étape (1), (3) ajouter la solution aqueuse d'hydrazine hydratée fournie à l'étape (1) au mélange préparé à l'étape (2), de manière à former une suspension aqueuse de particules solides de couleur noire comprenant de l'osmium, (4) séparer les particules solides de couleur noire comprenant de l'osmium provenant de la phase aqueuse de la suspension aqueuse formée à l'étape (3), (5) laver les particules solides de couleur noire comprenant de l'osmium séparées à l'étape (4) avec de l'eau ou de préférence avec une solution aqueuse de chlorure d'ammonium, (6) sécher les particules solides de couleur noire lavées comprenant de l'osmium obtenues à l'étape (5), et (7) traiter thermiquement les particules solides de couleur noire sèches comprenant de l'osmium obtenues à l'étape (6) dans une atmosphère réductrice et contenant de l'hydrogène, de façon à obtenir une éponge d'osmium.
