Abstract[English]
A thermoplastic composition comprising: a polyester,; a flame retardant composition comprising a non-fluorinated flame retardant, optionally, an auxiliary flame retardant, and optionally, an anti-drip agent; greater than or equal to 5 wt% of a polyetherimide; a reinforcing agent; optionally, an additive composition; and wherein the sum of the wt% of the polyester, the flame retardant composition, the polyetherimide, the reinforcing agent, and the optional additive composition total 100 wt%, wherein a sample of the composition exhibits a UL-94 rating of V-0 at a thickness of 0.8 mm, or 0.6 mm, more preferably wherein a sample of the composition exhibits a UL-94 rating of V-0 at a thickness of 0.4 mm, and wherein the thermoplastic composition is essentially fluorine-free.[French]
L'invention concerne une composition thermoplastique comprenant : un polyester ; une composition ignifuge comprenant un produit ignifugeant non fluoré, facultativement un produit ignifugeant auxiliaire et facultativement un agent anti-goutte ; 5 % en poids ou plus d'un polyétherimide ; un agent de renforcement ; facultativement une composition d'additif ; et la somme des % en poids du polyester, de la composition ignifuge, du polyétherimide, de l'agent de renforcement et de la composition d'additif facultative totalisant 100 % en poids, un échantillon de la composition présentant un indice UL-94 de V-0 à une épaisseur de 0,8 mm, ou 0,6 mm, plus préférablement un échantillon de la composition présentant un indice UL-94 de V-0 à une épaisseur de 0,4 mm, et la composition thermoplastique étant essentiellement exempte de fluor.
