A cantilever suspension assembly 100 comprises a suspension member 206 having a profiled cross-section, a support part 300 having a cantilever member 302 for supporting an article, and a securing device 400 comprising a hand release input 404. The hand release input 404 transitions the securing device 400 between securing and release states when hand-actuated. The release state of the securing device 400 enables the support part 300 to be released from the suspension member 206. The securing state of the securing device 400 engages the support part 300 with the suspension member 206. The securing device 400 allows the support part 300 to be engaged with the suspension member 206 at a plurality of heights along the suspension member 206.[French]
