Abstract[English]
A system for crystallising a selected mineral from brine is described. The system includes a forward osmosis (FO) system and the FO system comprises: a semipermeable membrane comprising a material having a surface tension less than 50% of a surface tension of the selected mineral in crystalised form, the membrane being positioned substantially vertically providing fluid communication between a brine chamber holding the brine and a draw solution chamber holding a draw solution; and a crystal collector provided at the lowest edge of the substantially vertically positioned semipermeable membrane, the crystal collector being arranged to collect crystals of the selected mineral formed on the membrane which have fallen due to gravity.[French]
L'invention concerne un système de cristallisation d'un minéral sélectionné à partir de saumure. Le système comprend un système d'osmose directe (OD) comprenant : une membrane semi-perméable composée d'un matériau dont la tension de surface est inférieure à 50 % d'une tension de surface du minéral sélectionné sous forme cristallisée, la membrane étant positionnée sensiblement à la verticale assurant une communication fluidique entre une chambre de saumure contenant la saumure et une chambre de solution d'extraction contenant une solution d'extraction ; et un collecteur de cristaux disposé sur le bord le plus bas de la membrane semi-perméable positionnée sensiblement à la verticale, le collecteur de cristaux étant conçu pour collecter des cristaux du minéral sélectionné formé sur la membrane qui sont tombés en raison de la gravité.
