Abstract[English]
A repositionable gearbox and motor that can be used with a mechanism, such as a wire feeder. The motor can be activated or operated to drive one or more gears in the gearbox, which in turn drive one or more components of a mechanism that is operably coupled to the gearbox. The gearbox and motor can drive the component of the mechanism when the gearbox and the motor are in a first position or orientation. In addition, the gearbox and motor can drive the component of the mechanism when the gearbox and the motor are in a second position or orientation that is different from the first position or orientation. The repositionable gearbox includes a locking mechanism that retains the gearbox in a particular position or orientation relative to the mechanism it is actuating.[French]
L'invention concerne une boîte de vitesses repositionnable et un moteur qui peuvent être utilisés avec un mécanisme, tel qu'un dispositif d'alimentation en fil.
