Abstract[English]
A system enhances determination of club delivery parameters and includes an imager capturing a sequence of images of an area in which an impact between a golf club and a ball is to take place, the imager being configured to take a pre-impact series of images from an initial time pre-impact through a time of impact and a post-impact series of images from the time of impact through a final time after the time of impact; and a processor determining ball launch parameters based on a post-impact series of images. The processor performs following operations: identify predetermined characteristic points on the golf club in each of the pre-impact images; determine pre-impact travelling path data for the golf club based on positions of the identified characteristic points in the pre-impact images; and calculate club delivery parameters from a mechanical impact model based on the pre-impact travelling path data.[French]
L'invention concerne un système qui améliore la détermination de paramètres d'exécution de bâton de golf et qui comprend un imageur qui capture une séquence d'images d'une zone dans laquelle un impact entre un bâton de golf et une balle doit avoir lieu, l'imageur étant configuré pour prendre une série d'images pré-impact entre un moment initial pré-impact et un moment d'impact ainsi qu'une série d'images post-impact entre le moment de l'impact et un moment final postérieur au moment de l'impact; et un processeur qui détermine des paramètres de lancement de balle sur la base d'une série d'images post-impact.
