Abstract[English] This disclosure relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical field, namely processes for production of alpha-structural isomer of (±)-cis-3-(2'-benzimidazolyl)-1,2,2- trimethylcyclopentanecarboxylic acid and its salts. The process according to the disclosure comprises the steps such as reacting o- phenylenediamine and (±)-camphoric anhydride compounds, isolating and purifying the alpha-structural isomer of (±)-cis-3-(2'-benzimidazolyl)-1,2,2- trimethylcyclopentanecarboxylic acid and, if applicable, the step of producing and purifying the salt. The technical contribution resides in the improvement of the process for production of the alpha-structural isomer of (±)-cis-3-(2'-benzimidazolyl)-1,2,2- trimethylcyclopentanecarboxylic acid and its salts, that comprises fewer steps, lower use of the organic solvents, and production of the final product with high purity.[French] La présente divulgation relève du domaine chimique et pharmaceutique, à savoir des procédés de production d'isomère structural alpha d'acide (±)-cis-3-(2'-benzimidazolyl)-1,2,2-triméthylcyclopentanecarboxylique et de ses sels. Le procédé selon la divulgation comprend des étapes telles que la réaction d'o-phénylènediamine et de composés d'anhydride (±)-camphorique, l'isolement et la purification de l'isomère structural alpha de l'acide (±)-cis-3-(2'-benzimidazolyl)-1,2,2-triméthylcyclopentanecarboxylique et, le cas échéant, une étape de production et de purification du sel.
