Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to the use of D-beta-hydroxybutyrate (D-BHB) in the treatment or dietary management of multiple acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (MADD), for example, in the prevention and/or amelioration of one or more symptoms associated with MADD. Further provided herein are methods of treatment or dietary managements of MADD in a subject in need, comprising administering to said subject a composition comprising D-BHB as the active ingredient.[French]
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de D-bêta-hydroxybutyrate (D-BHB) dans le traitement ou la gestion diététique du déficit multiple en acyl-CoA déshydrogénases (DMAD), par exemple, dans la prévention et/ou l'amélioration d'un ou de plusieurs symptômes associés au DMAD.
