Abstract[English] Methods and systems are provided for treating water to remove urea from the water by controlling the pH of the water to be in a range of from 3.5 to 5, adding an oxidant to the water, and then subjecting the water to UV radiation to decompose the urea.[French] L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes pour traiter de l'eau afin d'éliminer l'urée de l'eau en régulant le pH de l'eau pour qu'il soit dans une plage de 3,5 à 5, en ajoutant un oxydant à l'eau, puis en soumettant l'eau à un rayonnement UV pour décomposer l'urée.
