Provided herein are methods of reducing platelet degradation in a subject in need thereof, such as a subject that has immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), using an antagonist of human neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), which in certain embodiments is efgartigimod.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés de réduction de la dégradation des plaquettes chez un sujet en ayant besoin, tel qu'un sujet atteint d'une thrombocytopénie immunitaire (ITP), à l'aide d'un antagoniste du récepteur Fc néonatal humain (FcRn), qui dans certains modes de réalisation est l'efgartigimod.
