Abstract[English]
A system for controllably changing a tissue property in a target volume. It comprises an ultrasound transducer that sonicates a target volume to change tissue properties by transmitting a sequence of acoustic pulses to the target volume, while a sensor array captures acoustic feedback generated by the sequence of acoustic pulses in the target volume. A controller (420) is provided, which (i) generates a spectrogram from the acoustic feedback, (ii) computationally calculates a degree of change of the tissue property in the target volume based on the spectrogram, and (iii) controls the ultrasound transducer based on the calculated degree of change of the tissue property to change the tissue property to a target degree set for a specific treatment.[French]
L'invention concerne un système pour modifier de manière contrôlée une propriété de tissu dans un volume cible. Le système comprend un transducteur ultrasonore qui crée une sonication dans un volume cible pour modifier des propriétés de tissu par transmission d'une séquence d'impulsions acoustiques au volume cible, tandis qu'un réseau de capteurs capture une retour acoustique généré par la séquence d'impulsions acoustiques dans le volume cible.
