Abstract[English]
The present disclosure provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor and at least one acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. The phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor and the acetylcholinesterase inhibitor are present in a synergistic ratio effective to reduce levels of proinflammatory cytokines and amyloid beta in a subject. The composition can be used in methods for treating neurodegenerative disorders and reducing neuroinflammation by administering an effective amount to a subject in need thereof. The phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitor may be selected from mirodenafil, sildenafil, vardenafil, tadalafil, udenafil, dasantafil, and avanafil. The acetylcholinesterase inhibitor may be selected from donepezil, rivastigmine, and galantamine. The synergistic ratio of the inhibitors can range from 1:0.1 to 1:10.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne une composition pharmaceutique comprenant au moins un inhibiteur de la phosphodiestérase 5 et au moins un inhibiteur de l'acétylcholinestérase. L'inhibiteur de la phosphodiestérase 5 et l'inhibiteur de l'acétylcholinestérase sont présents dans un rapport synergique efficace pour réduire les taux de cytokines pro-inflammatoires et de bêta-amyloïde chez un sujet. La composition peut être utilisée dans des méthodes de traitement de troubles neurodégénératifs et de réduction de la neuro-inflammation par administration d'une quantité efficace à un sujet en ayant besoin.
