Abstract[English]
Disclosed herein are aspects of methods to separate water in a fuel cell system integrated into a fuel cell stack. A plurality of fuel cell assemblies are compressed together to form a fuel cell stack. By aligning the cathode exhaust outlets of the fuel cell assemblies a collection cavity is formed in the fuel cell stack fluidly connected to each fuel cells assembly. A water outlet is connected to the collection cavity having an angular water collection ramp therein. The integrated water separator reduces the size of the fuel cell system.[French]
L'invention concerne des aspects de procédés pour séparer l'eau dans un système de pile à combustible intégré dans un empilement de piles à combustible. Une pluralité d'ensembles de piles à combustible sont comprimés ensemble pour former un empilement de piles à combustible. En alignant les sorties d'échappement de cathode des ensembles de piles à combustible, une cavité de collecte est formée dans l'empilement de piles à combustible en communication fluidique avec chaque ensemble de piles à combustible. Une sortie d'eau est reliée à la cavité de collecte ayant une rampe de collecte d'eau angulaire à l'intérieur de celle-ci. Le séparateur d'eau intégré réduit la taille du système de pile à combustible.
