Abstract[English]
An apparatus includes an assembly configured to be implanted on or within a recipient. The assembly includes an elongate body having a longitudinal axis and a flexible material, at least one element facing outwardly from the body and configured to be in operative communication with a portion of the recipient, at least one signal conduit in operative connection with the at least one element, the at least one signal conduit enclosed by the flexible material and extending along a length in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. The assembly further includes at least one reinforcement element enclosed by the flexible material and extending along the length in the direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. The at least one reinforcement element has a plurality of recesses distributed along the length and that contain the flexible material.[French]
La présente invention concerne un appareil qui comprend un ensemble conçu pour être implanté sur ou dans un receveur.
