Abstract[English] Provided herein is an engineered immune cell expressing XCL1(X-C motif chemokine ligand 1) or a functional variant thereof, wherein the immune cell is a gamma delta (γδ) T cell. Also provided are methods of modulating immune function by administering said immune cell, and methods of treating cancer and other immune diseases.[French] L'invention concerne une cellule immunitaire modifiée exprimant XCL1 (ligand 1 de chimiokine à motif X-C) ou un variant fonctionnel de celle-ci, la cellule immunitaire étant un lymphocyte T gamma delta (γδ). L'invention concerne également des procédés de modulation de la fonction immunitaire par administration de ladite cellule immunitaire, ainsi que des méthodes de traitement du cancer et d'autres maladies immunitaires.
