A surgical instrument (10) comprises a first member (14) including at least a portion of a first spheroidal joint (22) and a first lock (96) engageable with a first bone element (98) fixed with a first vertebrae. A second member (16) includes at least a portion of a second spheroidal joint (34) and a second lock (146) engageable with a second bone element (98a) fixed with a second vertebrae. A linkage (62) is simultaneously engageable with the spheroidal joints to lock the second member relative to the first member fixed with the first vertebrae. Un instrument chirurgical (10) comprend un premier élément (14) comprenant au moins une partie d'un premier joint sphéroïdal (22) et un premier verrou (96) pouvant venir en prise avec un premier élément osseux (98) fixé à une première vertèbre.
