Abstract[English]
Thermoplastic compositions include: from about 10 wt% to about 90 wt% of a polycarbonate component including a post-consumer recycled polycarbonate (PCR-PC); from about 5 wt% to about 20 wt% of a polycarbonate-siloxane copolymer; from about 5 wt% to about 25 wt% of a glass fiber; and from about 1 wt% to about 3 wt% of a phosphazene flame retardant. The PCR-PC has a total fries rearrangement of at least 200 parts per million (ppm) as determined by proton-nuclear magnetic resonance (proton-NMR) spectroscopy, or the PCR-PC comprises at least 0.2 mol% of a branching agent. In certain aspects the composition has a UL94 flame retardant rating of V0 at a thickness of 1.5 mm, passes a Ball Pressure Test at 125 °C, has a notched Izod impact strength of at least 10 kJ/m2 at 23 °C, and/or has a VICAT softening temperature of at least 132 °C.[French]
L'invention concerne des compositions thermoplastiques qui comprennent : d'environ 10 % en poids à environ 90 % en poids d'un composant polycarbonate renfermant un polycarbonate recyclé post-consommation (PCR-PC) ; d'environ 5 % en poids à environ 20 % en poids d'un copolymère polycarbonate-siloxane ; d'environ 5 % en poids à environ 25 % en poids d'une fibre de verre ; et d'environ 1 % en poids à environ 3 % en poids d'un agent ignifugeant phosphazène. Le PCR-PC a un réarrangement de Fries total, tel que déterminé par spectroscopie par résonance magnétique nucléaire du proton (RMN du proton), d'au moins 200 parties par million (ppm) ou le PCR-PC comprend au moins 0,2 % en mole d'un agent de ramification.
