Abstract[English]
Device, system, and method for automatically detecting and classifying personally identifiable information (PII) in documents and files. A method includes performing a deterministic rule-based search, in a plurality of stored documents, for PII data-items. If the deterministic rule-based search indicates that a particular document is more likely than not to contain a PII data-items then the method includes: extracting a textual snippet from the particular document, wherein the textual snippets surrounds the PII data-item; adding the textual snippet and the particular document to one or more training datasets utilized for training a Large Language Model (LLM) configured to find PII data-items in documents for Named Entity Recognition (NER) in those documents.[French]
La présente invention porte sur un dispositif, un système et un procédé de détection et de classification automatiques d'informations personnellement identifiables (PII) dans des documents et des fichiers. Un procédé comprend la réalisation d'une recherche basée sur des règles déterministes, dans une pluralité de documents stockés, pour des éléments de données PII. Si la recherche basée sur des règles déterministes indique qu'un document particulier est plus susceptible de ne pas contenir d'éléments de données PII, alors le procédé consiste à : extraire un fragment textuel du document particulier, les fragments textuels entourant l'élément de données PII; ajouter le fragment textuel et le document particulier à un ou plusieurs ensembles de données d'entraînement utilisés pour entraîner un grand modèle de langage (LLM) configuré pour trouver des éléments de données PII dans des documents pour une reconnaissance d'entité nommée (NER) dans ces documents.
