Abstract[English]
Disclosed herein is a method and depackager apparatus for removal of organics and cleaning of residual plastics from a waste stream in a depackager. The method comprises injecting a stream of air into a filtration drum, comprising the residual plastic, of the depackager. Further, the method comprises creating a turbulence within the filtration drum using predetermined structures deployed in the filtration drum, such that the residual plastic passes through a first end of the filtration drum to a second end of the filtration drum. Finally, the method comprises collecting cleaned residual plastic through the second end of the filtration drum.[French]
