Abstract[English]
A system and method for assisting a surgeon performing an ophthalmic procedure on an eye of a patient, the system including a lubrication assembly (170). The lubrication assembly may be disposed on a proximal end (172) of a robotic arm (167), a proximal end of a surgical microscope, or a proximal end of a mobile stand or frame. Dispersal of lubricant from the lubrication assembly may be upon receipt of a direct input from a surgeon, according to a predetermined schedule, or according to an image processing protocol. The lubrication assembly may be moved into position over the eye of the patient manually by the surgeon or through the indirect command of a motion controller which is operable to move the robotic arm or the surgical microscope so as to extend the lubrication assembly into a desired position.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour aider un chirurgien à effectuer une intervention ophtalmique sur un œil d'un patient, le système comprenant un ensemble de lubrification (170). L'ensemble de lubrification peut être disposé sur une extrémité proximale (172) d'un bras robotique (167), une extrémité proximale d'un microscope chirurgical, ou une extrémité proximale d'un support ou d'un cadre mobile. La dispersion de lubrifiant à partir de l'ensemble de lubrification peut être lors de la réception d'une entrée directe provenant d'un chirurgien, selon un programme prédéterminé, ou selon un protocole de traitement d'image.
