Abstract[English]
The current fire extinguishing powders are ineffective due to their low weight, which prevents them from properly covering the fire and makes them easily spread by the wind. To solve this, we have developed a new mineral composition by mixing sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, and barium sulfate in specific ratios. These ingredients have unique properties that help in cooling the fire, create a covering layer, and preventing the powder from being displaced. Additionally, we use stearic acid to prevent moisture absorption and aluminum silicate to enhance physical properties and prevent clumping during storage.[French]
Les poudres extinctrices actuelles sont inefficaces en raison de leur faible poids, ce qui les empêche de recouvrir correctement l'incendie et facilite leur dispersion par le vent. Pour y remédier, nous avons développé une nouvelle composition minérale en mélangeant du chlorure de sodium, du carbonate de calcium et du sulfate de baryum selon des rapports spécifiques. Ces ingrédients ont des propriétés uniques qui aident à refroidir l'incendie, à créer une couche de recouvrement et à empêcher la dispersion de la poudre. De plus, nous avons utilisé de l'acide stéarique pour empêcher l'absorption d'humidité et du silicate d'aluminium pour améliorer les propriétés physiques et empêcher l'agglomération pendant le stockage.
