Abstract[English]
Devices and techniques for inferential current stimulation. A device includes a power source, multiple pairs of electrodes, and a controller. Each pair of electrodes is adapted to apply current from the power source in a current path to stimulate a subcutaneous target. The current paths overlap at an interference point which is a result of a summation of the electrical fields of the current delivered via the pairs of electrodes. The controller is configured to send control signals in order to control the current delivered from the power source to each pair of electrodes. The controller is also configured to control the current delivered to each pair of electrodes such that frequencies of the current paths are higher than a frequency of the summation of the electrical fields and the waveform resulting from the summation of the electrical fields includes discrete interference pulses delivered with periods of quiescence between pulses.[French]
L'invention concerne des dispositifs et des techniques de stimulation de courant inférentielle. Un dispositif comprend une source d'alimentation, de multiples paires d'électrodes et un dispositif de commande. Chaque paire d'électrodes est conçue pour appliquer un courant provenant de la source d'alimentation dans un trajet de courant pour stimuler une cible sous-cutanée. Les trajets de courant se chevauchent au niveau d'un point d'interférence qui est un résultat d'une sommation des champs électriques du courant délivré par l'intermédiaire des paires d'électrodes. Le dispositif de commande est conçu pour envoyer des signaux de commande afin de commander le courant délivré par la source d'alimentation à chaque paire d'électrodes.
