Abstract[English]
The proposed invention provides for a photovoltaic cell with enhanced capacities to absorb, receive and convert solar radiation by the configuration of an antenna formed at the semiconductor junction. Three dimensional geometrical shapes (that contains plurality of antenna elements) are imprinted on the surface of the semiconductor using either a chemical or a mechanical method and the tilted configuration in the geometrical shapes provides for the increased PV cell area and thereby enhanced capacity to absorb, receive and to convert solar radiation. The antennas that are fabricated at the semiconductor junction can be dipoles or folded dipoles or any other variation of an antenna.[French]
La présente invention concerne une cellule photovoltaïque (PV) ayant des capacités améliorées d'absorption, de réception et de conversion du rayonnement solaire grâce à la configuration d'une antenne formée au niveau de la jonction de semi-conducteurs. Des formes géométriques tridimensionnelles (qui contiennent une pluralité d'éléments d'antenne) sont imprimées sur la surface du semi-conducteur à l'aide soit d'un procédé chimique, soit d'un procédé mécanique, et la configuration inclinée des formes géométriques procure une plus grande aire de cellule PV et ainsi une capacité améliorée d'absorption, de réception et de conversion du rayonnement solaire. Les antennes qui sont fabriquées au niveau de la jonction de semi-conducteurs peuvent être des dipôles ou des dipôles repliés ou toute autre variante d'une antenne.
