Abstract[English]
A monitoring device for monitoring a status of a display apparatus, the monitoring device comprising: an infra-red, IR, receiver for detecting an IR signal transmitted from a remote control; a processor configured to determine, from the IR signal, an operating instruction for operating the display apparatus, wherein the operating instruction comprises a channel change instruction and/or a power instruction; and a memory configured to store a current status of the display apparatus, the current status comprising a channel displayed on the display apparatus and/or a power status; wherein the processor is configured to determine an updated status of the display apparatus based at least in part on the operating instruction, and to replace the current status stored in the memory with the updated status.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif de surveillance destiné à surveiller un état d'un appareil d'affichage, le dispositif de surveillance comprenant : un récepteur infrarouge, IR, destiné à détecter un signal IR émis depuis une télécommande ; un processeur configuré pour déterminer, à partir du signal IR, une instruction de fonctionnement pour faire fonctionner l'appareil d'affichage, l'instruction de fonctionnement comprenant une instruction de changement de canal et/ou une instruction de puissance ; et une mémoire configurée pour stocker un état actuel de l'appareil d'affichage, l'état actuel comprenant un canal affiché sur l'appareil d'affichage et/ou un état de puissance ; le processeur étant configuré pour déterminer un état mis à jour de l'appareil d'affichage en se basant au moins en partie sur l'instruction de fonctionnement, et pour remplacer l'état actuel stocké dans la mémoire par l'état mis à jour.
