The disclosure provides punctal plugs and their method of use for treating ocular diseases or conditions, or symptoms thereof. The punctal plug described here comprises a polymer portion and a composite portion, where the polymer portion is configured to be inserted into a punctum of the eye. An exemplary composite portion of a punctal plug described here comprises at least one active agent, where the active agent is released towards the punctal opening of the eye.[French]
