Abstract[English]
Buoyant articles for maritime use, which may be embodied in a lifering that has glow in the dark pigment that is provided to produce illumination at the exterior of the lifering to enhance the visibility of the lifering at night, and which also incorporates an infrared (IR) pigment substance in conjunction therewith to provide visibility with an IR viewing apparatus, such as night vision googles (NVGs), cameras and other devices incorporating infrared illuminating technology. The lifering may include webbing or a rope that is configured with IR illuminating properties to be picked up by NVGs or other devices capable of capturing infrared energy.[French]
