Abstract[English]
There is provided a cryoablation system and method. The system may include a probe which has a hollow body that defines an inlet and an outlet, the inlet configured to receive a thermal fluid for circulation through the hollow body, and the outlet configured to discharge the thermal fluid from the hollow body. A fluid supply console may be remote from the probe and in fluid communication with the inlet of the probe. The fluid supply console may be arranged, in use, to provide the thermal fluid to the probe to enable heating or cooling by the probe. The fluid supply console may include a heating element configured to selectively heat the thermal fluid before it is provided to the inlet of the probe so as to enable selective heating of the probe.[French]
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de cryoablation. Le système peut comprendre une sonde qui a un corps creux qui définit une entrée et une sortie, l'entrée étant conçue pour recevoir un fluide thermique pour une circulation à travers le corps creux et la sortie étant conçue pour évacuer le fluide thermique du corps creux.
