Abstract[English]
A device and a method for transperineal prostate biopsy. The device for transperineal prostate biopsy comprises: (a) a first parallel mechanism for generating translational or rotational motion of an ultrasound probe; (b) a series-parallel hybrid mechanism as an end-effector of the first parallel mechanism for housing the ultrasound probe and a biopsy needle-guide; (c) a drive module of the series-parallel hybrid mechanism for generating rotational motion and translational motion of the ultrasound probe along the ultrasound probe's axis; (d) a second parallel mechanism of the series-parallel hybrid mechanism for controlling the configuration of the biopsy needle-guide relative to the ultrasound probe and confining trajectory of the biopsy needle to an axial imaging plane of the ultrasound probe; and a controller for executing a kinematic modelling method.[French]
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de biopsie transpérinéale de la prostate. Dans un mode de réalisation, ledit dispositif de biopsie transpérinéale de la prostate comprend : (a) un premier mécanisme parallèle pour générer un mouvement de translation ou de rotation d'une sonde à ultrasons ; (b) un mécanisme hybride série-parallèle en tant qu'effecteur final dudit premier mécanisme parallèle pour loger ladite sonde à ultrasons et un guide-aiguille de biopsie ; (c) un module d'entraînement dudit mécanisme hybride série-parallèle pour générer un mouvement de rotation et de translation de ladite sonde à ultrasons le long de l'axe de ladite sonde à ultrasons ; (d) un deuxième mécanisme parallèle dudit mécanisme hybride série-parallèle pour piloter la configuration dudit guide-aiguille de biopsie par rapport à ladite sonde à ultrasons et confiner la trajectoire de ladite aiguille de biopsie à un plan d'imagerie axial de ladite sonde à ultrasons ; et un dispositif de commande pour l'exécution d'un procédé de modélisation cinématique.
