Abstract[English]
A catheter includes a catheter shaft deliverable through a radial access approach. The catheter shaft has a fluid lumen. A balloon is mounted on the catheter shaft and has an interior in fluid communication with the fluid lumen. An ultrasound transducer is in the interior. A flow control device has an inlet port to received fluid passing through the interior from the fluid lumen. The flow control device is configured to vent the fluid to a surrounding environment when the fluid has a predetermined pressure. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.[French]
Un cathéter comprend une tige de cathéter pouvant être mise en place par l'intermédiaire d'une approche d'accès radial. La tige de cathéter comporte une lumière de fluide. Un ballonnet est monté sur la tige de cathéter et présente un intérieur en communication fluidique avec la lumière de fluide. Un transducteur ultrasonore est situé à l'intérieur. Un dispositif de commande d'écoulement présente un orifice d'entrée pour recevoir un fluide passant à travers l'intérieur à partir de la lumière de fluide. Le dispositif de commande d'écoulement est conçu pour évacuer le fluide vers un environnement ambiant lorsque le fluide présente une pression prédéterminée.
