Abstract[English]
A system and method for signaling changes in aspect ratio of media content is provided. The system acquires a video stream to be transmitted to an electronic device and determines aspect ratio information associated with content included in the video stream. The system further determines a change in an aspect ratio of the content based on the aspect ratio information. The change in the aspect ratio may be from a first value at a first timestamp to a second value at a second timestamp for a duration of the content. The system signals information indicative of the determined change to the electronic device.[French]
Un système et un procédé pour signaler des changements d'un rapport d'aspect d'un contenu multimédia sont décrits. Le système acquiert un flux vidéo devant être transmis à un dispositif électronique, et détermine des informations de rapport d'aspect associées à un contenu inclus dans le flux vidéo. Le système détermine en outre un changement d'un rapport d'aspect du contenu sur la base des informations de rapport d'aspect. Le changement du rapport d'aspect peut concerner un passage d'une première valeur à une première estampille temporelle à une seconde valeur à une seconde estampille temporelle pendant une durée du contenu.
