Abstract[English]
A locking mechanism for restricting the actuation of a magazine release lever of a firearm can have a lock that is operable between a locked position for restricting the actuation of the magazine release lever and an unlocked position for permitting the actuation of the magazine release lever. The lock pin can comprise a lock pin having a recessed portion and a locking portion, wherein when a stop latch is aligned with the recessed portion, the locking mechanism allows the magazine release lever to be actuated and when the stop latch is aligned with the locking portion, the locking portion interferes with a rotation of the stop latch, restricting the actuation of the magazine release lever.[French]
L'invention concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage destiné à entraver l’actionnement d’un levier de libération de chargeur d’une arme à feu, pouvant comprendre un verrou qui peut être manœuvré entre une position verrouillée servant à entraver l’actionnement du levier de libération de chargeur et une position déverrouillée servant à permettre l’actionnement du levier de libération de chargeur.
