Abstract[English]
An electronic device and method for delivery of extended emergency notifications through sensory feedback is provided. The electronic device receives a signal from an Emergency Alert System (EAS) that includes one or more of a broadcast system or an Internet-based system. The electronic device extracts emergency information from the received signal. Thereafter, the electronic device determines an external device that is communicatively coupled to the electronic device. The electronic device controls the external device to generate a type of sensory feedback that corresponds to an emergency alert. The type of sensory feedback is generated based on at least a portion of the emergency information.[French]
L'invention concerne un dispositif électronique et un procédé de distribution de notifications d'urgence étendues par rétroaction sensorielle. Le dispositif électronique reçoit un signal provenant d'un système d'alerte d'urgence (EAS) qui comprend un ou plusieurs éléments parmi un système de diffusion ou un système basé sur Internet. Le dispositif électronique extrait des informations d'urgence du signal reçu. Ensuite, le dispositif électronique détermine un dispositif externe qui est couplé en communication au dispositif électronique.
