Abstract[English]
The present invention relates to a personal care device such as an electric hair cutter like shaver or toothbrush, and to a method of manufacturing such personal care device. More particularly, the personal care device comprises a handle and a function head supporting at least one personal care tool, said function head being attached to said handle, wherein at least one of said handle and said function head includes an outer metal shell formed in one piece with an integral, homogeneous, seamless structure having a ring-like or sleeve-like shape with closed annular cross-sections. Said outer metal shell includes at least one undercut portion which is formed with a hydraulic pressure forming step applying hydraulic pressure onto a side of a metal shell blank positioned in a mold to deform the metal shell blank and press an opposite side of the metal shell blank against said mold to adopt a contour of the mold.[French]
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de soin personnel tel qu'un dispositif électrique de coupe des poils, par exemple un rasoir, ou une brosse à dents, et un procédé de fabrication d'un tel dispositif de soin personnel. De façon plus précise, le dispositif de soin personnel comprend un manche et une tête fonctionnelle supportant au moins un instrument de soin personnel, ladite tête fonctionnelle étant fixée audit manche, ledit manche et/ou ladite tête fonctionnelle comprenant une enveloppe métallique externe formée d'une seule pièce présentant une structure monobloc, homogène et sans soudure, de forme annulaire ou en forme de manchon avec des sections transversales annulaires fermées. Ladite enveloppe métallique externe comprend au moins une partie évidée qui est formée à l'issue d'une étape de fabrication sous pression hydraulique consistant à appliquer une pression hydraulique sur une face d'une ébauche d'enveloppe métallique positionnée dans un moule pour déformer l'ébauche d'enveloppe métallique et presser une face opposée de l'ébauche d'enveloppe métallique contre ledit moule pour qu'elle épouse la forme du moule.
